Lady Captain

Hello ladies and welcome to Durham City Golf Club. The Ladies’ Section at Durham City Golf Club is a friendly community of women golfers of all ages and abilities. In addition to getting together for regular weekday and weekend competitions throughout the summer months, we enjoy meeting for social events both in the clubhouse and elsewhere. Every summer we organise away days and exchange visits to other golf clubs. In the 2023 season we plan to host a series of Get into Golf events aimed at introducing newcomers to our sport. Come along and join us!

Please feel free to contact me on 07722284084 if you have any questions. I would be happy to meet for a coffee and a chat.

Bob Ord

Junior Captain

I joined the Durham Junior Academy aged 11 and have really enjoyed my time at Durham City Golf Club. I’ve been part of the Junior Team who have won the NW Durham County league title for the last 2 years and I currently play off a handicap of 8. This season I’ve also been selected for the County Under 16 squad. I’m very much looking forward to my year as a junior Captain here at Durham City Golf Club as we look to defend our NW Durham League title again.
